As a parent, one of the hardest things to do is to leave your children in the care of other adults. All the unknowns and 'what ifs' that run through your mind as the day goes on is overwhelming. At Together We Grow, there are no unknowns or what ifs because the outstanding staff and teachers they have there. Our children are excited to go to this preschool everyday. We are constantly informed of our children's progress. Additionally, the facility is kept extremely clean and is well maintained. Together We Grow has been a huge part of our lives for over 15 years. When you have a child with special needs the idea of hiring a “babysitter” goes completely out the window. The number of people you can turn to for help is very small and that’s why having an entire facility filled with people that you trust to safely care for your child is an amazing gift. My child has many needs, some common and some unique, and knowing that the staff will professionally and lovingly handle all of these needs gives me an immeasurable peace of mind. As a bonus to getting this excellent care, she also has the pleasure of getting to interact with other children of various abilities. Whether it is after school care or weekend respite, she is thriving while I am meeting my own needs be it work or having a little fun of my own.

I work at a facility with medically fragile children. I’ve worked here for 7 years, felt a lot of heartbreak, been yelled at, been hugged and loved, I’ve laughed and cried. Together We Grow is an absolute blessing! A leave no child behind Nursing Daycare facility. Speaking from a mom with a disabled child, I cannot express enough, the many reasons why the need for a special place like Together We Grow is so essential to those of us with children that have disabilities. It takes a unique, loving and caring group of people who have humbled themselves and come together to create an environment that is totally structured around your child’s needs.

From the outside of the building with its magical castle-like look, from the fairy tale prince and princesses that are painted on the walls, to the colorful rock waterfalls, this place is very inviting. The playground area is fully equipped for children with and without disabilities. Then indoors, the thought process the owners put into each and every personalized room as they thought about all of the children of all ages to come, is amazing!

It takes a big heart along with open arms, and welcoming smiles full of understanding that warms your heart as a parent knowing that your child is in the best hands ever second to yours. Together We Grow is fully equipped with an amazing staff! Every person that my husband and I have come across from the first day we registered our son has been awesome! The highly experienced nursing staff are the best. You can call them anytime, day, night or hour.

We do respite weekends which my son absolutely loves and really enjoys coming here. As parents raising a child with disabilities, we greatly appreciate the respite weekends, it gives us time to catch up with housework, yard work, errands, and more importantly ourselves. To know that he is in good hands and we can sleep at night without worry on the respite weekends is truly a blessing, and to be able to drop him off during the weekdays so we can run errands is a huge plus.

I became a single mom two years after I had Finnley. Within a few years, all of my family had moved out of California and solo care for my two daughters left zero time for me to recover from the constant caretaking and owning my own business.

One of Finn's doctors happened to mention respite care and I was hesitant. Even as tired as I was, I was just scared that her needs would be too much for someone else. I am so glad I was wrong. Together We Grow has exceeded my expectations and my daughter loves her respite weekends.

This is not a typical care facility. Together We Grow is very selective with who they hire and they have always been so professional. I have always had nurses and CNA'S that have cared for and loved my daughter as if she was their niece. They have great adaptive equipment and fun themes each weekend. They are very throughout with her meds and have always called me if there was a question. To say that I trust them 100% with her, would be an understatement. They have become our extended family.

You will never meet a kinder, more responsible group of people with a fantastic sense of humor. They have helped me keep my business afloat, especially in 2020 and I am a better mom because of the breaks I can take due to Together We Grow being available.

As first time, working parents, Together We Grow has been amazing! Particularly during a pandemic, we felt it was important for our daughter to get social interactions with other kids but we also wanted to make sure she was safe during all of these crazy, uncertain times. Together We Grow gave us a place we felt comfortable with as well as a place for our daughter to grow and learn. Fast forward 9 months later and our daughter is thriving thanks in part to the wonderful staff and teachers at Together We Grow. We are so glad we found such a caring, safe place for our little one.

We are so grateful for Together We Grow! Until we found them, we didn’t know a place like this exists. A place where our son chooses to go to and not just where he gets taken to. Options have been limited due to Harry’s physical challenges, not just his medical needs, but his total dependency of side-by-side assistance to do anything fun! Together We Grow is the place where Harry gets all of his needs met, not just medically, for safety and comfort, but for a genuine joy and somewhere he looks forward to going each day. Never have we ever had a place where we parents have been at ease leaving our son. Harry is a great advocate for himself and not content to stay idly by. He’s high maintenance but absolutely worth it. We don’t have endless energy. So we parents have lived by dividing and conquering. We haven’t had a chance for couple’s time. Never overnight. For many, many hospital stays, one parent always stayed with Harry.

The day program is definitely for Harry. To our tremendous relief and practical rejuvenation, the weekend care is truly heaven-sent for us parents. At first, weekend care provided a chance for catching up on much needed sleep. Now, we actually get free time to spend together and reconnect as a couple. It’s as near to a second honeymoon that we can get!
