We are open 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We have weekend respite care for medically fragile children only, 2-3 weekends per month. Visit our Hours Page to learn more.

Typically developing describes a child who does not require skilled nursing care. We enroll typically developing children ages 6 weeks through age 5 into our daycare/preschool. We enroll children with medical conditions from age 6 weeks up to and over age 22. Typically developing children and medically fragile children are in inclusive classrooms up to age 5, learning and growing together.

We do not provide meals; however, we do provide morning and afternoon snacks for the children. It is extremely important that parents advise us of any food allergies.

Together We Grow does not provide one-on-one nursing care for medically fragile children. Each nurse is assigned more than one child on their shift. The child’s nursing care needs are taken into account when assignments are made for the nurse.

Although the nurse will be taking care of your medically fragile child, the nurses work as a team with the CNA’s and the teachers. If the nurse is working in an inclusive classroom with typically developing children as well as medically fragile children, the nurse is a part of the team working with all the children in that room.

Many of our medically fragile children are in wheelchairs or perhaps have G-tube feedings set up. The safety of all the children in our care is our primary goal. Each child will be viewed individually when we are asked if their child could attend Together We Grow.

Transportation may be a possibility at our Vista center, with restrictions. There is no transportation available at our San Diego center. However, you can discuss your child’s transportation needs with your child’s school for school bus drop off and pick up on school days.
